Dale Blakey Models is a family owned business, specializing in building, machining, and restoration of 1.5" to 3.75" scale locomotives and rolling stock. in 7 1/4" and 7 1/2" gauges

Our experience extends from "N"scale models through 2 foot gauge restoration, to my other employment as Chief Mechanic and Conductor on the standard gauge, Santa Maria Valley Railroad 

Just a note ; As web sites are not my profession, updating comes on a time permitting basis. 

One current project is the painting of a mountain car train. This set of 6 cars, a caboose and a loco has been outside for a while, with the intention of the owner to paint them. We should have the caboose and the loco at the Bitter Creek Westerns August meet. bittercreekwesternrr.org

Another is the replacement of rod and valve linkage bushings and nickel plating of the rods on an 0-6-0 steam engine.
